Inkhead World 1 Boss Guide: Five Fight Notes

Identify Tick-Tock Tobias, Madame Kettle, The Garden Gang, Wobbles the Jelly and Nimbus Nell with real Expert-run screenshots.

Boss and progression spoilers

§Tick-Tock Tobias: Spring hazards occupy the floor#

The reviewed Expert scene places a line of spring-mounted hazards between the player and Tobias. A floor-level path that was clear a moment earlier can become crowded.

Watch the floor before running toward the boss. Plan where the next jump will land, then resume shooting from space that remains clear. The screenshot captures one pattern and does not provide a fixed attack order.

§Madame Kettle: Read the floor and the floating platforms#

The reviewed scene shows low hazards moving across the floor while three plate-like platforms sit at different heights. Kettle attacks from the right side of the room.

Track the low hazard first, then choose whether to remain grounded or use a platform. Avoid jumping only because the boss animates; check the space you will land in. Revisit the beginner guide if Expert is still locked.

§The Garden Gang: Notice threats arriving below your aim line#

The garden arena shows a tall sack-shaped enemy on the right and a smaller enemy close to ground level. Shooting straight ahead can make it easy to overlook movement near your feet.

Keep a little attention on the floor while aiming at the large target. If a small enemy closes the distance, create room before returning to sustained fire. The selected view identifies the pressure points, not a complete phase catalogue.

§Wobbles the Jelly: React to the pink object separately#

The diner scene contains a large blue jelly boss, a pink object near the airborne player and small debris close to the floor. These cues occur at different heights.

Recognize the pink object using the game’s parry rule, then judge whether your current route can reach it safely. Keep your landing point clear of the floor clutter instead of chasing every possible parry.

§Nimbus Nell: Switch your attention to aerial lanes#

The Nimbus scene is airborne: the player pilots a small plane on the left while a dark cloud boss fills the right. Other objects occupy the space between them.

Use the open area on your side to read incoming paths. Make a short correction when possible, leaving room for the next hazard. Ground-boss jumping habits do not directly describe this flying arena.
